Group people by how they work
Job titles alone do not explain workspace requirements. Consider applications, locations, peripherals, collaboration needs, and patterns of use. Someone using a small set of browser applications has different needs from someone working with demanding specialist software.
Measure the whole experience
A session that starts successfully can still be frustrating. Review sign-in, application launch, profile behavior, printing, and everyday task completion. Test from the locations and devices people actually use.
Pilot before expanding
Choose a representative group, record issues, and agree on acceptance criteria. Use the pilot to refine configuration and support documentation before expanding. User feedback should influence the rollout plan.
Treat the workspace as a service
Provisioning, updates, access changes, and support all shape the experience. Define responsibilities and collect feedback over time so the environment continues to fit the work.
